Bob Olson: What label or description do you
give yourself when a stranger asks what you do for work?

McGill: Primarily, I am an Evidential Psychic Medium and
a Medical Intuitive. What
I mean by evidential is that I provide descriptive
details, while doing a reading, in order to offer
“evidence”, so to speak, that the information I am
receiving is not of a general nature.
I am also a teacher and a healer.
In the work
that I do, it is important for clients to know that I am
simply the messenger. I
work to interpret and convey the information I receive
as a Psychic Medium and Medical Intuitive from my
Guides, my client’s Guides, Angels, Spirit, and from
my client’s own energy and vibration.
I entered
into a contract with Spirit to establish boundaries with
Spirit. This
was essential for my own well-being, and as an
observance of a universal law.
As such, prior to beginning a reading, I offer
the client’s name as a signal to Spirit that I have my
client’s permission to begin the reading.
Spirit then
comes forward and begins to share information with me.
I receive information during a reading in a
variety of ways, including through clear seeing;
hearing; sensing; knowing; tasting; smelling; and
feeling (a variety of different clair’s, so to speak).
I then take the insight beyond sight and do my
absolute best to interpret it for the betterment of all
– those on this side and in Spirit.
I work only in a positive mindset, as we are all
interconnected and this is essential for the highest
good of all involved.
As a teacher
and a healer, I work to educate my clients about
universal truths. In
doing so, healing naturally occurs.
As a medical intuitive, I interpret the
information I receive and provide insight beyond sight
from the most minute energy form within and around my
client’s being to the outermost layer of their energy
field. This
insight beyond sight assists with the healing process.
Having said this, I always remind my client that
I am not a medical doctor and I encourage them to seek
the advice of a trained medical doctor should the need
arise.
As an
Evidential Psychic Medium, my goal is to provide proof
that continuity of life exists.
This proof may consist of:
a description of the illness; incident that was
the cause of physical death in this lifetime for the
Spirit that passed; the name the Spirit used in this
past lifetime; what the Spirit wore at the time of death
or time of funeral, or when they worked (work uniforms
etc.); their favorite shirt, coat, blouse, pants, shoes,
dress, etc.; information about a conversation my client
just had (usually a day or so before or the day of the
reading).
Spirit shares
this specific information to demonstrate they are still
with my client. Some
other examples of specific information I have received
during readings are: the address, phone number, or date
of birth of the Spirit that passed; what their house,
yard, or favorite location looks(ed) like; Spirit’s
appearance in this past life; information they want to
share, such as how much my client is loved by them and
others; how important it is for my client to let go of
unresolved issues; information about my clients and/or
Spirit’s pets; and items given to or from Spirit to my
client or their family and/or friends.
Most readings
consist of both psychic (past, present and future) and
medium information, although I never know prior to a
reading exactly what information will shared.
Bob Olson: When did you first recognize that you
had this gift?
Cheryl Anne
McGill: I firmly
believe I was born with this gift; however, I have spent
my whole life developing my skills in using my gift.
Bob Olson: When did you begin doing this work
professionally?
Cheryl Anne
McGill: Interestingly,
I have been giving readings since I was a little child,
yet I was not aware that I was doing so.
Just like I always had the ability to feel
hunger, to see a meadow, and to smell a fresh flower, I
have always had intuitive knowing and have always given
readings.
As I
progressed into adulthood and gained more of an
understanding regarding my abilities, I began a ten-year
process of giving free readings.
During the ten years of offering free readings, I
was processing my very personal connection with the
universe regarding what money really means and the
significance of it in my life.
I started to work as a paid professional almost 2
years ago.
Bob Olson: Have you had any formal training or
instruction for this work?
Cheryl Anne
McGill: Yes. My
formal training has come from Spirit as well as
academia. I am a
Registered Nurse (R.N), a Women and Children Counselor
Advocate (A.W.C.C.A.), and have a Master of Business
Administration (M.B.A.). I
have also worked in the capacity of Director of
Education, and Forensic Nurse Examiner.
This training has provided me with learned skills
in anatomy; physiology; counseling; the importance of
following a code of professional ethics; and adhering to
strict standards of confidentiality.
Up until a
few years ago, I wanted all of my training to come from
Spirit. This, I
felt, would keep it untainted.
Now, I have entered a period in my life where I
have a thirst for knowledge from those who have come
before me and those that are working diligently to share
their truths about the universe and spirituality.
I believe there are many truths and that each is
equally valid. As
such, I am working on a Doctorate in Metaphysical
Sciences and a Doctorate in Divinity.
Although my list of interests is broad, my most
recent interests include learning about the Tarot, the
Qabalah, and Archetypes.
Bob Olson: What is your intention or motivation for doing this work?
Cheryl Anne
McGill: To reach as many people as possible
in providing insight beyond sight so that they will know
that continuity of life exists.
For in realizing this, I firmly believe all
people and our planet will heal and will realize that
everything that exists is interconnected.
They will then know that every decision or lack
of decision (although, that too, is technically a
decision) does impact everything.
At that wonderful point in time, hatred and its
manifestation will cease to be, for anything less will
be impossible. In
other words, we will be doing what we, as a people and
planet, are meant to do – truly loving ones-self,
loving others, and loving all that is.
Bob Olson: How long do your readings last and
why did you choose this length of time?
Cheryl Anne
McGill: I
offer 1 hour readings. Clients get much more from a
1 hour reading than from readings of a shorter duration.
They are able to
relax, enjoy and take in the reading.
Bob Olson: What instructions do you give new
clients before a reading?
Cheryl Anne
McGill: I ask that my clients remain
silent and request that they do not offer me any
pre-reading information about themselves, other than
their name. All my
readings are given via the telephone, as I read for
clients on an international level.
It is essential that my readings remain untainted
and clear. I find that not knowing anything about a
client prior to their reading assists in this process.
Bob Olson: Is there anything about your gift or
abilities that is unique from most other psychics or
mediums?
Cheryl Anne
McGill: I like to think that every psychic or
medium teaches while providing healing during a reading;
however, I know this is not the case.
It is, however, one of my goals, as mentioned
earlier. Also, as
mentioned earlier, I am an evidential medium.
I am learning there are not as many of us out
there as I had once hoped.
Although, the universe is ensuring this is/will
changing(e) very quickly as the veil between the
dimensions becomes thinner and thinner.
Given that I am a medical intuitive, I know this,
too, is not the norm.
I work from a
place of providing insight beyond sight in only a
positive manner. I
leave my ego at the door, so to speak.
Sadly, this is not the norm either.
I then leave it up to my client to do whatever
he/she wishes if anything, with the insight beyond
sight. I firmly
believe we each have free will to actively make good
choices in our lives, while living out our life
contracts. I
believe that we must make a concentrated effort to make
these good choices for the whole of humanity, the
planet, and all that is. However,
it is not my place, during a reading, to attempt to
control my client’s outcome/actions of what to do with
the insight beyond sight.
I am learning this is also not necessarily the
norm among other psychics and mediums.
Bob Olson: If you do
events, seminars, workshops, lectures or retreats, tell
us about them. What are they like, how often do you do
them and how do people benefit from attending them?
Cheryl Anne
McGill: At this time,
I offer a four-part Seminar called ‘Developing Your
Mind’s Eye’. Clients
take the seminar at their own pace, via the telephone
one-on-one with me. I
plan, in the future, to go back to teaching large
groups, as I did in the past when I worked as the
Director of Education and as a Consultant.
At this time, my focus is on completing a book,
producing CD’s, offering readings, hosting my weekly

calendar.
At the time
of their reading, I phone clients for their scheduled
reading if they are in the U.S.A. or Canada.
